On the one hand, Portugal as a country where african roots solidify. On the other hand, an ambivalent Brazil, where Portugal extended itself one day. Two territories experienced and shared by Rita GT and Tiago Cadete’s emotional magnifying glass.
The blue of the sky and the brown of the soil. The soil as an uncertain house and the house as a fragile clay moldable to the circumstances. The emptiness of the landscape and the human landscape. The factory as an inaccessible place and the other places that postcards never dared to show.
Rita GT and Tiago Cadete offer images of a future under construction. What kind of tomorrow do we search for? Which world-house do we want to inhabit? In these artistic and geographic territories, sound takes the lead as a guide: it disseminates itself, it creates bridges, it shakes what is stable.
