This project aims to generate an interactive visual experience based on the concept of ouroboros. Idea usually represented by a snake that devours its own tail.
This phenomenon has served over time to separate the so-called (real) world, which we think we know, from the (unreal) underworld, which we apparently do not know.
In more general terms, it symbolizes cyclical renewal, an eternal return in a closed but variable cycle. A loop. The start is the beginning and the beginning is the end.
I’M NOT ALWAYS OF MY OPINION is a look at the paradoxical and mysterious aspects of the human mind and the lived experience that materializes in a series of concrete meaningless drawings that are pierced by cut lines, colored geometries that sometimes divide, or hide information.
In other words, the idea that nothing is ever definitive or defined and that everything is contradictory and fragmented but forms a whole. It is up to each of us to find a meaning and then question it.
An idea that also tries to dismantle the principles of certainty and coherence that we are socially “obliged” to maintain but which is not always viable. It is a work on the ambiguity of what we call reality.
Compositions of random images from an imaginary underworld as concrete as they are abstract, whose organicity is called into question by the rigidity of the straight shapes that pierce and censor them.
